I run Windows 7 , using Google and occasional Firefox but not IE . In XP I could instruct the system to delete Temp Int files but there is no such facility in Windows 7 and I am assuming that somehow these don't get deleted automatically as I was lead to believe but remain in the AppData folder . There I find that AppData/Local/Temp has 93,550 files in 1992 folders using 9GB of space . In view of previous comments about the inadvisability of simply deleting anything in the AddData folder I am wary of doing so but can't believe that this number of files serves any useful purpose . Does anyone have any thoughts ?? These files really clog up the regular scanning that I do .
