Okay, so. My husband built me a computer for Christmas last year, but gave it to me just after Thanksgiving. I'm a web developer and I also like to play Final Fantasy XIV, so those were the main goals for the computer. It worked great until I tried to update my graphics drivers a month or so ago, at which point FFXIV started blue screening on startup unless I reinstalled the graphics drivers every reboot. I'm 99% sure this is an issue with FFXIV's compatibility, so I'm not overly worried about it (though if there's a fix, that would be nice). The problem I'm worried about is that starting 2 or so weeks ago, the computer started randomly turning off when it's left alone for an hour or more. I highly doubt it's an overheating or power supply issue, but I don't have evidence to confirm this. The components are listed below in the image; it does run Windows 7 and my husband updated the BIOS last week. This probably wouldn't be a problem except that I have to reinstall the graphics drivers every restart. Two days ago it started requiring me to do a system restore each time the computer shut itself off. Until then it would be fine to just reinstall the drivers and run FFXIV, but for the last couple days it still crashes even after that unless I restore and then reinstall. Any ideas?
