Dear Tech Support Guy,
I want to move from Windows XP to Windows 7, and I think my system meets the basic requirements, but I am wondering whether it will run well with Windows 7.
My system is a Dell Dimension E510, with a Pentium D 2.8 GHz processor and 3 GB of RAM. It is about 7 years old.
It looks like it will cost me about $250 to make the upgrade (including Windows 7 and Microsoft Office), so I am wondering whether it is worth it to put this money into a 7-year-old computer.
Or would it make more sense at this point to buy another computer with Windows 7 for a total of about $450 (including computer and office)?
