On a laptop running Windows 7, I'm having trouble with the sound. The sound device has somehow been set to Speakers & Headphones (IDT High Definition Audio CODEC), which is forcing about half of my sound playback through headphones (which I can't simply leave plugged in) and the other half through the speakers. For example, video call sounds come through the headphones, whilst system sounds come through speakers. What I need to do is set everything to come through the speakers unless the headphones are plugged in. The problem is, whether I go through Control Panel or my Taskbar, I can't seem to find a way to set it back to the default.
