Solved: How Best To Downgrade Internet Explorer

Hello,

Whatever recent IE upgrade that took place has sidelined my dad so he called me for help. Because I do not use IE, I personally am not effected nor know what he's talking about. From what I can gather, there must have been an auto update to a new version of IE that took place on his computer recently.

He doesn't know how to use the new version as it apparently looks different. Plus, whatever he's doing in regard to his business requires the previous version, I guess some business app or website does not work right now.

How best to downgrade to the previous version? Is there a way to do this without loosing all his IE settings?
