Running Windows 7 32 bit
I was in the middle of installing software for our small school that will help with visitor/student check in, etc. AVG popped up with a "threat" and removal. It did this while I was doing something else and letting the installer run. The installation did not complete (to my knowledge). It does not show up in programs or in the control panel for uninstall a program. When I go to run the installation program again, it says that it appears the software is already installed and there is no need to reinstall. However, there the software isn't in the programs list. I was going to uninstall and reinstall but I can't even do that because it does not show up in the uninstall program list. I used REVO uninstaller as well and it does not show there either.
Can I remove the partial installation somehow? System restore best option?
