Hi all i have two questions really.
My laptop battery for my eee pc [which i have had for 3 years, windows 7 os] is now coming up with a consider replacing your battery icon when i charge up yet it still can sort of work without the wire in.
So my questions are:
1) How can i determine the actual charge and capacity the laptop battery has, is windows 7 fooling me or is there really a problem? [i have about 3 months prior replaced the ram sticks from 2x1gb sticks to 2x2gb sticks. Thanks to the help of some excellent posters on techguy helping sort out my earlier memory issues]
2) If i need to replace the battery, where is the best place i can get a battery replacement that A) is guaranteed to work B) wont fry my computer if its not the manufacturers make?
also if it matters i am in the UK
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide
