Solved: RPC server unavailable.

My audio device has stopped working. The audio service has stopped and will not restart with error 1068 Dependency or group failed to start. Audio Endpoint builder reports RPC server is unavailable. RPC, RPC locator and RPC endpoint mapper are all started: Audio device is installed and reports driver is working properly (Its a firewire Presonus firebox) I have un-installed and re-installed it. I read a report saying Java install could be a problem so I have un-installed it. I have recently installed a NAS device, but the Audio has worked perfectly for days since the installation. I haven't found anything else that doesn't work so-far, despite the fact that there are lots of dependencies listed for RPC. I have rebooted the system several times to no avail.
Help! I cant watch my Family Guy DVD's without audio!!!
