In my Yahoo email, I went to Today’s Samples, Freebies and Deals which I do frequently to get free samples, this time for this sample: Great Deal Quit Smoking today! NO expensive gums or patches. Use what works! Quit smoking without all of those expensive gums and patches. But lately I have been getting the above message: Trend Micro URL Filter also appears in other places I go to. ; well. more than lately. I uninstalled Trend Micro Security some time ago but somehow it is still in my computer. I have been to regedit and searched for it and it is not there. It is not in any uninstall programs that I have. It is not in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features. It is not in my downloads, but it is in OS (C:) Program Files.

When I try to delete it I get You need permission to perform this action. Then I right click and select Take OWNERSHIP, then I get a back screen that says Access Denied. So I right click on it and choose Unlocker. That takes me to hundreds of log files, c:/program files\trendmicro/amsp/... I push the Shift key and select all and delete, and it takes me back to the same place showing hundreds more and so it goes .Bottom line, they will not delete,

On starting my computer or rebooting I also get this message - failed to load the required icudt library - which is connected to the Trend Micro problem, and this message:

Message Box Title : cef initilization error (this Is Related To The Trend Micro Problem)

And Message Box Title: UIwINMGR.EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING (do not know what this is related to)

Re: Problem uiwinmgr.exe has stopped working

Anyone now how I can get rid of this nuisance?

This I also picked up from somewhere on my computer, maybe when I first installed Trend Micro. Do not recall. Duh!
