Hi there, I just bought a computer the other day, a hp pavilion g6-2348sg. It had no windows installed (freeDOS), so I bought a windows 7 home premium dvd. I installed it, but I can't connect to the internet because there seems to be no drivers for ethernet, and as a matter of fact, there are several other missing drivers as well. When I tried to install the drivers, which I downloaded in another computer and loaded in a usb pendrive, an error came up saying that "the system does not meet the minimum requirements... (9996)". I am wondering if the computer itself is not capable of running Windows 7, but only Windows 8. Can someone confirm this or have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
