Win7 using Virtual PC XP mode CMD

Because of an old dos based program that I use at work I still need to use XP mode to get a command prompt.

I use Virtual PC, XP mode.

This works fine except that the cmd window only runs in a small window.

I have tried going to options and run it as full screen and when clicking OK it does ask if I want to apply this to this window only or future windows.

This all seems normal but the window does not change.

When going back into options the display options is still at "window", like it is not applying the change.

Any ideas?
