My Adobe Reader has vanished and I need it for electronic banking. Tried to download it again and get the following error
"1310 error writing to file C:\config.Msi\xxxxxx"
Have tried system restore - reset IE - tried to download from various sites and with different browsers with no luck.
Adobe tech support was useless. Found the C:\config file empty in my documents. I'm afraid my registry is messed up.
Have searched google for help and have run virus scans but nothing works.
Any help or suggestions you can give me would be appreciated.
