Hi, and thanks for opening this thread. I'll get to the point. A few months ago, I built my first computer. Went to a roughly 1k price range, took me about seven hours with a bit of internet help to put it together. Its worked great, but recently I've been having graphical problems. I thought it was related to my drivers (I'm using a GTX 770), so I've uninstalled and reinstalled the latest ones twice now; - No go.

My problem seems to stem from video games, generally. Here's a little excerpt of what just happened. (It may not match this thread, since I'm copy-pasting it from what I transcribed.)

"Was playing Garry's Mod, nothing abnormal. Suddenly the screen goes back, and the last sound heard loops rapidly for about five or ten seconds. I alt tab, can't re-open the game, but I can hear people talking and stuff happening in said game. I open task manager, kill hl2.exe. I try and watch my video, but it glitches, pixelates. Images break and become massively fractured and pixellated. I shut off my computer. After five or so minutes, I turn it back on again. It took a long time after typing in my password for the desktop to "Appear". Easily 5 to 6 times the normal amount of time it takes."

This has happened in the past. I had blue screens; - STOP errors, a few times. They were almost all 0x116, which is what lead me to check my drivers.

In my attempts to locate the problem, I ran MemTest86 for a few hours until it completed, no problems with my RAM. I ran OCCT, a GPU stress test, for three hours with not a single error found. This problem occurs maybe once a week, once every two or more. I don't really know how to fix it.

Possibly on topic, I hear a loud "Clack" from my case now and then. Normally I'd think it was my HDD or some sort of disk spinning; - But it happens even when my computer is turned off. Probably just the case, I suppose. I'm using a Corsair Vengeance Series C70 case. Here's a screenshot of my speccy to give you an idea of my build.
