i have a gateway laptop that for some reason wont type anything in the password box to log into windows. the mouse works fine, keyboard works everywhere else but that password box. the onboard keyboard doesn't work either, i click apply but nothing happens, I've Tried F8 and did all the safe modes, password still cant be entered. i've pretty much tried every option in F8, when i try to do recovery it has an error sometimes ive done it more than a few times to see if it changes. a few times the error didn't show, but nothing changed for the login situation, system recovery doesn't do anything either. :confused:
note. i can't log into the computer at all and everywhere all my responses have been to download software or go to run/ system manager, ext. ext. i can't do any of that because i cant log on :eek:
