Windows Update screen is blank

Just as the title says, the Windows Update screen is blank, the only thing showing in that window is "Control Panel Home." I have ran MalWare Bytes and it did remove a few trojans, did not fix the issue. Then I used this Microsoft Support page to reset the Windows Update components, still did nothing. However, when I was going through step 6 "Register the BITS files" there were errors with several of the files. I will list those below:

The module "mshtml.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "mshtml.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.
Make sure that "shdocvw.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file
Make sure that "browseui.dll" is a valid...
Make sure that "qmgr.dll" is a valid...

The module "msxml.dll" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found.
The module "gpkcsp.dll" failed to load
"sccbase.dll" failed to load
"slbcsp.dll" failed to load
"initpki.dll" failed to load
"wuaueng1.dll" failed to load
"wucltui.dll" failed to load
"wuweb.dll" failed to load
"muweb.dll" failed to load

In the command prompt, I have also tried using "sfc /scannow" which found issues but could not fix it. And I downloaded and used the Microsoft Fix it 50202 tool. Still have a blank Windows Update screen. All I can think now to do is find a Windows CD and try a system repair, and if that does not work my last option will be to try a fresh install. Any other info would be greatly appreciated.
