On two of my three Windows 7 machines a dialogue box to select another user if a non-admin privileged user attempts to install a program. At that point, the user can select a user with admin privileges, enter that user's password, and proceed with the installation. On the third machine, the unprivileged user is just not allowed to install the program. This happens, for instance, if a program such as Acrobat Reader announces an upgrade. There must be somewhere that this setting resides, but I cannot find it. Any suggestions?
