Re-installed Photo program issue ... Need a HELP

Hello:
When I attempted to edit some of photoes in Microsoft Digital Image 2006, loading the photoes was very slow to the point I need to wait five to ten minutes. Then, this morning I uninstalled and re-installed Microsoft Digital Image 2006 all over again.

However, the exact same issue persisted not able to load photoes on which I want to edit them. On the exact same PC/Win 7, loading all of photoes right away.

How to re-installed Microsoft Digital Image 2006 correctly?
btw) I love this program over any other photo programs which I tried in the past.

Any help would be truly appreciated.
