Hi. I don't know if this has been asked before, but I searched for a while and didn't find anything,
Anyway, sometimes I want my computer to stay on overnight, but have the display turned off. I only do this once in a while, but it has become more frequent with uploading large files overnight. I have tried using programs like nircmd, and its "C:\Users\Harry\Desktop\nircmd.exe cmdwait 1000 monitor off" command in a shortcut. I have tried using Monitor Off, and a whole range of other programs. The thing is, every single program I try to use does not make the screen stay off. It always turns back on again, consistently. There is about a 10 minute period where the display is off, then it just turns itself back on. I would really appreciate some help with this as I have searched and searched to no avail.
