Hey Guys,
How many of you use the Eject option for your Thumb Drive removal in the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the System Tray? All this does is display a message that it is safe to remove the drive, correct? How many of you do not use this feature and just close all Windows and unplug the drive?
My question is that for My Patriot Drive I have two options in the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon. "Eject Patriot Memory" and an icon of the drive itself. Are both of these options the same? For example, if I highlight and click on, "Eject Patriot Memory" would I lose all my backups on the Thumb Drive? Or does it make no difference whether I click on that or the picture icon?
