Hi
Recently, my laptop has been randomly restarting and sometimes even while starting windows logon. At other times, it will freeze and look like this
I ran CHKDSK with all attributes selected and it detected no problems. I ran Windows Memory recovery tool with extended scan and the system booted before it could complete.
The restarts started happening more frequently and now the computer is completely unusable.
I have not installed anything recently that I think may be related to the problem. Any recent software was running fine before this started happening.
I am running in safe mode with networking now and it is not happening. I have not installed windows update KB2823324 from April or
I have been playing a game recently which would make my laptop shut down due to overheating sometimes. I hope it hasn't damaged my hardware. How do I determine that? Any advice on my next step to find the problem? How to I systematically activate various hardware functions like my graphics and sound? Specs are below...
