I Installed all the Microsoft updates issued on last patch Tuesday, August 12. Since then I've found on the web that Microsoft recommends the updates be uninstalled. RE: MS14-045.
Apparently the updates are causing crashes and some systems will not boot at all, mostly effecting Windows 7 64 bit, which is what I'm running.
The only thing I've noticed since installing these updates is that it takes my system 3 or 4 to minutes to boot when it used to take no more than about a minute.
See:

Should I uninstall these updates when they're not causing me any real problems, other than a fairly long boot time? Should I wait for a fix from MS? or just go ahead and uninstall following the instructions issued by MS?
Thanks for your help!
