I'm running XP. I have patched in my hi-fi to record using the (blue) line in and Realtek recognises that the jack has been plugged. The master record knob will rotate but the minute I move it off the back stop it overloads. The individual fader channels are there, but have no actual faders to move up and down so I assume that means they are at maximum. If I open the windows sound panel this is confirmed as the faders will not move at all. The playback faders are all fine and working perfectly.
