I have a dual boot system with XP on 1 hard drive and windows 7 on another. I wanted to upgrade my memory so I added 2 new stcks of memory to the computer. When I rebooted and chose to boot to windows 7 it said it could not find an installation and recommended using recovery consul to repair. When booting from the disk it scans for a windows 7 installation that shows one with no size and unknown partition. It says it can't repair this automatically. I can boot to XP and when i look in explorer I only see one disk, the one with XP on it. I tried running Bootrec.exe from the command prompt in Recover consule using /ScanOs and it says it cant find any window installations. I looked physically in the tower to see if I disloged a cabel or anything but all looks good. What should be my next steps. I primarily use Windows 7 for all my computing so I need access to it.
