A few months ago I built my new computer and installed Windows 7 Pro. I've been getting random BSODs from time to time, and they tend to happen when I push the sleep button on my keyboard to come out of sleep mode. When it does this, it never wakes up. It'll take a dump before the windows screen comes up. Another time it happened just after I came out of sleep and got back into Windows. The first thing I did was open my browser (firefox) so I'd say it took less than 30 seconds after waking when I got the BSOD.
It never happens while the computer is up, or if I'm working on something. So, I don't know if its hardware or windows related. After it happens, windows says it created a log file but I've tried to read it and it doesn't make any sense. Oh, and usually when I put the computer into sleep mode I don't leave programs open that are using RAM. I usually close everything.
I don't know where to start with this. It is random and does not happen every day.
