Hi, I'm having a problem that I've never experienced before and am having a rather difficult time solving on my own. So here's how it is: A few days ago, approximately around the 14th, I noticed that there were slightly longer delays between the windows logo and the log in screen when starting up. Like, 10 second delays when it's usually .5-1 second. I didn't really think anything of it, and proceeded to log in. I noticed that it seemed to take a longer time for everything to start up than usual, but not super long, maybe 8 minutes when it usually takes 3 minutes. I started to browse the internet and stuff, started to play a game with slightly longer delays and lag happening with pretty much everything. Then, after about 30 minutes, my game froze and I couldn't click on anything. I ctrl+alt+deleted out of it and tried to delete it from task manager but then task manager froze. After that everything else started freezing. So I shut down, and logged back in with the same slightly longer delays, noticing it as suspicious that time. I did the same thing, waiting for lag to happen, and this time after a much shorter period, maybe 5 minutes of being logged in, everything started freezing again. I noticed that obviously there was a serious problem going on, so I shut down and logged in in Safe Mode. I ran Malwarebytes and had it do a quick scan and it found some stuff but nothing that was already checked, meaning it wasn't particularly dangerous as far is it was concerned. I had that stuff deleted anyway, shut down, rebooted, logged in, and experienced the same problem. So I fell back on system restore. I ran in safe mode but found that I had no restore points beyond the 14th(this was happening on the 15th), with one on the 14th and 1 on the 15th. I figured I'd might as well try it, and ran system restore. However, after around 3 minutes of initializing it shut down my comp, and rebooted. I realized this wasn't normal, logged in, and sure enough I received an error message something along the lines of System Restore has failed, your files remain unchanged. Then the details: System restore failed to extract the following file: C:\users\Blake\AppData\Local\Temp\shropop\sjnlixe\wow.dll.
Error: 0x8007045b
So with neither System Restore nor Malwarebytes working, I have no idea what to do. I'm currently on here on Safe Mode with Networking because it doesn't freeze except from normal startup. What can I do to fix this, short of totally resetting my system, because I would really rather not do that, I have like weeks worth of game files and configurations on here.
My dxdiag System Information is as follows:
Machine name: BLAKE-WIN7PRO
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.140303-2144)

Please help.
Thanks,
Dreng
