This seems to be a problem with Windows 7. I have a file on my Hard Drive Producea.mp4 453mb. Under Properties / Owner is says "Unable to display current Owner." If I delete it it will reappear of I change directories or hit refresh. If I try to move it or rename it it says I don't have permission. I have tried going to the command prompt and started it as a administrator when to the file in dos typed del Producea.mp4 and it came back with "Access is Denied."
Question how do you delete a file if you can't access it to change ownership. Seems like a catch 22.
Thanks for any help,
Mike
