random lock up's, fail to boot, other issues!

I'll start from beginning.

I have Win 7 64bit.

An online game I play was having issues. Game would lock up and I'd have to do a hard reboot. It's happened a few times. Finally was advised to DL new nvidia drivers. Did that. Issue started to get worse.

Started getting random system freezes. Browsing, watching a video, gaming, or just sitting there.

Then it started just shutting down on it's own. Next, no boot to windows, then no boot past bios.

I tried another video card, no help. Replaced PS, same thing. I added no hardware, no new software. Sent MB to ASUS, took them 10 days, got it back, NO NOTES as to what was tested, if it was good or bad, nothing.. not happy on that part. Anyways.

Got it set up again, ran fine for ONE DAY. Day 2, start it up, froze after windows.
I called AMD up, they had me sent in my cpu, phenom II x4. In the meantime, I put my wifes cpu in, athlon II x2 which my MB can run. Only tested for a few hours but ran fine!

So I bought a used one, ran fine for 2 days, then SAME ISSUES. Now, as before, it starts but only fans run (worst it got).

Ran memtest for 2 cycles, ram tested fine, far as I know. Im sure it can still be ram.

My C drive is an SSD, which holds win7 and nothing else. Two other drives are HDD's

Guess Im looking for suggestions. I have Norton which is up to date and runs fine on auto. Doubt there is any virus.

Thanks.
