Normal Boot Is Extremely Slow

I've been having some issues that popped up in the past few days. Whenever I boot the computer in normal mode, it loads EXTREMELY slow. Whenever I finally reach the desktop, any task takes 50x longer than normal (opening menus, opening applications, etc.) I'm currently booted in safe mode with networking, and there is no lag any more.

Any ideas on resolution?
