After researching my multicore processor problem for so long, i finally solved it i had to go into the bios and reset the settings back to the defaults, the processor name is an amd e-350, and now the task manager now shows the 2 cores as it should,its a low end cpu that was installed with the laptop and now everything works fine, now i still get 100 percent on it sometimes but its not that bad and the person that owns the computer doesn't need it for gaming or anything like that anyway so its no and issue, all in all perseverance saw me right through to the end despite my doubts!!
