Green lines on screen and can only boot into safe mode

Hi! I'm not sure why, but my computer isn't working. When I was playing some Hitman Absolution my computer randomly crashed, whenever I tried to boot up it would reach the windows screen then just freeze there for like 10 minutes then go black. While it was frozen I could hear the fan of my computer buzzing rather loudly. I was able to boot it up into safe mode just fine, it had some weird green lines running horizontally though (http://imgur.com/kqWDhI3). I suspect my nvidia graphics card is busted.

My computer is 3 years old.
I'm running Windows 7
