the kind of pc I have is my name. I have win 7 64 pro & bought a copy of the same one as a replacement for my Ethernet cable became inoperable (burned, fried, disabled sometimes before hand which made my prediction) whole different story but can make it work either way & not the issue, but since this happened upon swapping the harddrive to the other identical pc is why its mentioned.
I found this http://forums.techguy.org/windows-7/...s-drive-e.html which led me here seems like a very good path but my question is using mhd1360's post of going off the cmd prompt and following the steps.
After hitting list volume on both disk drives (one dvd, other cd burner) it says RAW
if I type the next step attributes disk all it does is say:
there is no disk selected
please select a disk and try again
I really want to know what I might be able to do from this route.
I'm hoping mdh might still be around. . . or anybody that might understand that aspect. Only others i'v found so far mess with registry and out of reading unused & haven't proved successful.
If anyone can help on attempt from this route please let me know.
