Inconsistant Boot Load / Mgr Error Occurrence

I have a new machine I built over the holidays. It has been running like a champ with no issues until recently. I normally shut it down at night, and start up in the morning with no issues. But a little more than a week ago, I got a boot error as if my SSD (primary boot drive) was not there. I have a secondary 4tb storage drive as well. So I reboot the computer, went in to the bios to see if there was an issue there, nothing I could see. Exited the bios without changes and the system boot up fine.

I now attempted a restart, same boot loader error. Repeated the same bios boot up, but this time reset defaults, then tweaked a couple of settings back to my original setup, restarted the pc, and it loaded fine. For a couple of days, I would just put the pc to sleep when I was going to be gone for an extended period of hours, and re-wake it when I was back, no problem. At this point, I am not sure what is happening. It crossed my mind that maybe I have a bad data cable, but have not had a chance to change it out yet as I am out of town dealing with a family illness. I have not done any bios updates, and have also wondered if that would be another possible issue. Does anyone have any clue why the sudden inconsistent behavior?

NOTE: In trying to remember the exact error, I may have mis-stated the error. I want to say it is "Bootmgr is missing Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to Restart" which also says something to the effect of being sure a device is connected. Again, I am not home and doing this from memory. I thought I would take a moment to post this so I can have some ideas when I return on how to deal with it.

Thanks
