Hello All,
I'm not sure what is happening or whether I may have a virus, but I figured I would start here.
When I open a new browser tab it shows Twitter I/jot as being very active. The thing is - I don't
go to Twitter and that is what has me concerned. When I click the X to remove it, it goes away,
but if I clean my computer with CCleaner or manually through Internet Options, it shows back up.
This started over a month ago - when I did go to twitter to check out something and right after
I did visit twitter - my malwarebytes caught a Trojan.trace and upon a full scan it caught 11 more
Trojans.bots (the name escapes me now). Anyway, I was told all those Trojans were false positives from
Malwarebytes and no need to worry, But ever sense then I keep getting this Twitter I/jot. in my tabs and
I have not been to Twitter.
Do you suppose I am infected? or is this something I need to worry about or look further into?
Nothing comes up on Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware or MSE on the scans!
Any help or thoughts?
Thank you for your time and expertise.
Tammy
