I use Win7, IE9 and Mozilla Thunderbird E Mail
Out of nowhere I find I cannot open links directly by clicking that arrive via E Mail. In trying to fix it or work around it I found
that if I open IE9 first and pin the logo to the taskbar and double click an E Mail link and then right click on the pinned logo and then try to reopen the link it will open. Most strange and none of the fixes suggested on line have any affect. It's
evidently fairly common with different suggested fixes none of which work for me. It would seem it needs a ref to a Browser that will display it eventually before it will open. I can leave the IE logo pinned to the taskbar all day for that purpose only and open another one for browsing purposes. It's not the end of the world but non the less annoying.
