deleting duplicate files using search

Hi all. I have over 37,000 duplicate music files I would love to be rid of. I tried using search to isolate the dupes as they all have a (2) after the song title. But win7 will list everything in my music folder(317gbs) with the number 2.
In xp I succeeded and removed the dupes in seconds but I can't figure out the method in win7. I even tried a microsoft online chat to no avail.
Please help so I don't have to manually remove 37000 files one by one.
