When I try to start Windows normally, I see "Starting Windows" then I see the 3 dot logo moving for half a second, then I get a flash blue screen and it immediately restarts.
So then I try to go in Safe Mode. It starts loading a bunch of system files.. Then it stops at: \Windows\system32\DRIVERS\CLASSPNP.sys and restarts/crashes.
I have tried startup repair but it says the computer can't be repaired automatically.
I have also tried system restore but it won't work. It doesn't go back to a previous time for some reason. "System restore did not complete successfully. Your system files and settings were not changed. Details: An unexpected error occurred during System Restore."
And yes I have tried "last known good configuration" but it just restarts again.
Could it be a virus/malware? What do I do if I can't even go in safe mode to clean it up? Ideally I'd like to not lose my files so I want to try everything before I do a complete reinstall.
