Problem with Windows 7 Updates

Hi -- For about 1 month I've been having a problem with 2 windows updates that indicate "failed". I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree when it comes to resolving these issues, so I hope you bear with me! I don't understand why a 2003 update is even coming through in 2013 ! Thanks for your help. Here they are:

1. Update for 2003 Junk e-mail filter KB2849999
2. Security update for Office 2003 KB2760494
