I have found a strange anomaly with the PATH after running "cmd.exe": I have duplicate entries.
The computer properties environment variable for PATH does not have these duplicates. Furthermore,
Operating system is Windows 7 64 bit
There is not an AUTOEXEC.BAT file
There is nothing in the startup folder
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Environment does not exist
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Environment does contain the path info, but I assume this is where the computer properties environment is stored.
msconfig shows numerous startup entries but aside from disabling them one at a time and rebooting, I am not sure how to determine if any are causing the problem.
Any other suggestions for tracking down what is casing the problem?
