Hey, Guys. I know I will have to move from WinXP Pro to Win7 soon, and have built a new computer with that in mind. Cost being a major consideration, though, I am wondering if the so-called 'branded' Win7 discs are ok? The ad says on non OEM machines the program has to be done as a full install, which is what I want anyway. I can get Win7 64 Pro for about $75 or so, but I have heard that the branded installs have intrusive screens (like for Dell, HP, etc.) Just how intrusive are those? Is it just the opening splash screen? And are they preloaded with programs chosen for the OEM computers?
