Hey everyone,
I'm currently at my wits end with this computer. I bought it in late June, and within two weeks of owning it, it had been sent back to be repaired. After that annoyance, I assumed everything would be alright. I was wrong however.
During the week or so after the computer was returned, it began to freeze up. If there was any audio, it would just become really slow and robotic sounding. Only fix to this was to restart it. After the pain that was contacting the customer support of the company before, when they told me there was nothing wrong with my computer at first, I realised that they probably would not be able to deal with it. So I, maybe somewhat foolishly, decided to try and leave it to see if it would sort itself out. It wasn't particularly common, maybe once or twice in a good day, and it was just a nuisance, but I could live with it.
Now, however, it seems to be becoming more frequent. As well as this, the splash screen when starting up the computer seems to be taking longer than usual. I've scanned for any viruses, used CCleaner to check registry or any other issues, updated my graphics card drivers, but nothing seems to be working.
I'm typing this after running CCleaner and restarting my computer. No change in terms of the splash screen time but so far no freezing. There doesn't seem to be a trigger on the freezing issue, so I might not know for a while if it's been sorted.
If anyone knows any potential fixes, I'm all ears. I'm desperate to sort this out once and for all.
Thanks in advance!
