I'm Windows 7 and I have an Acer 1 tb computer which suddenly stopped loading. Took it to a store who re-installed the operating system, and I lost a whole lot of important stuff. I had to reload everything - difficult because all details necessary to reload programs were contained in word documents. I installed Microsoft Office Student & Teacher 2003 which I'd been working in. After doing so there is no option to create a word document, and when I right click to open a new word document, Word isn't in the list. I'm a writer working on a novel, and one of the chapters won't open, though shows as Windows default and a load of gobbaldy gook. I am desperate because I have also lost my current gmail mail with all my contacts. The gmail loading is of an older version. Is there someone who knows a lot about gmail or the aforementioned serious issue? Please, please help. The only option I have top create a doc is New Text document.
