Hi Here is the problem:-
Compaq laptop originally with Vista, upgraded to 8 but didn't like it so downgraded to 7 worked ok but a bit slow
Tried to install 8.1, was copying file but some were corrupted so it wanted fixing.
Tried all fix and repair methods available on 8.1 USB.
Now it just shows boot screen then restarts, have tried with recovery discs from USB but they give me Error message No bootable partition in table, and it sticks there. From there i have to turn it off then on again to do anything else.
Only other computer I have is iMac with OS X El Capitan
How can I fix my laptop? Preferably with 8.1 but 7 will do.
