I have an Asus EEE PC 1011PX that was running Windows 7 starter. It was running quite slowly (and Windows 7 starter has its limitations), so I opted to have a dual boot system (Windows 7 and crunchbang linux).
I've done this before on other systems without problems, but I think I might have installed linux on the wrong partition (the EEE seemed to have several and I picked the wrong one). Luckily I have managed to recover the data from the hard drive by taking it out and connecting it to a USB to SATAII box, but I still don't have a functioning machine.
I have two questions:
Does anyone know how I solve the BOOTMGR is missing message?
How can I install Windows 7 without using a CD/DVD (no disk drive)?
