Hi everyone this my first question on here so i will try to add as many details as i can any help would be amazing.
Ive been having problems for a couple of weeks now mainly with my internet it has been going really slow and taking a very long time to load pages and sometimes not responding i looked online for possible solutions and changed my router i also tried an Ethernet connection but no joy so i tried changing my browser i was using Firefox i thought i would just try internet explorer (64-bit) and it seemed to work great for about a day then i started getting the same problem with that and it got worse freezing the laptop for a while nearly every time i loaded a page. I have been fighting through for the last couple of days just to get my work done but today when i turned on the laptop and loaded up the net it froze on me and the screen started flickering best way to describe it is violently then it switched itself off when i tried to start it back up the lights came on for a second and the fan started then off and it repeated this on its own several times before i turned it off i then started it again and it came up with the screen as if i wanted to into safe mode but that option was not there it said something like repair start up sorry i was a bit nervous by this point and cant remember exactly what it said so i hit enter it started trying to repair after about 3 mins asked me if i wanted to do a system restore i said yes after another ten mins a message came up saying it could not repair and shut itself down again i started it back up and it started fine but it seems like it has done a system restore but the internet is still the same it works fine on all of my other devices and other peoples laptops.
My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5741-A
Intel Core i3-350m processor (2.26GHz, 3MBL3 cache)
Intel HD Graphics Up to 1275 MB DVMT
3 GB DDR3 Memory 320GB HDD
DVD Super Multi DL drive.
Windows 7
Not sure of anything else i can add let me know if i have missed anything out.
