Last week I archived a very large amount of data into some .7z files. I had some old .zip files which contain invaluable data. Last night I was trying to extract those archive files, but couldn't extract them. The old .zip files were created by WinRAR compression utility and the .7z files were created by 7-Zip. Now both these programs are unable to open these archives. While opening .zip file this error takes place: "Expected ZIP file header not found" and while opening .7z file this takes place: "7z file become corrupted and must be repaired before you can view it". The errors telling that the files are corrupted. I tried to repair ZIP files by using WinRAR repair feature, but it didn't work. Please help me. I just want to know how to fix this situation?
