Gadgets lost

I have recently lost my desktop clock gadget on windows 7 and right clicking on the desktop and selecting gadgets displays absolutely nothing, not even an empty window.

Could you tell me how to get my gadgets back please.

I did try downloading the gadget again but when I tried to run it it told me I had an internet connection problem which I do not have!
