Hello,
I turned on my laptop yesterday and for some reason windows would not boot up. I would get a blank black screen (monitor is on though) and after a while I would get a screen with status: 0xc000000f.
Someone suggested turning off USB support in the BIOS, but no luck.
I tried running my recovery disks, and it would be "loading files" then get stuck on a black screen again.
I took out my laptops hard drive and connected it to my desktop and it is recognized, but I cannot open it once the computer is on. I tried running chkdsk /f but get the message ""The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive."
When I turn on the computer however, it runs a chkdsk and finds that "file record segment 24 - 27, and 40 - 47 is unreadable"
I don't know what to do at this point :(.
Thanks for any help, feedback, or suggestions!
