First off here is my TGSSysInfo readout
Hi. I recently reinstalled windows on my laptop and I am having two problems.
Firstly is the graphics drivers. The laptop includes a NVIDIA GT555M graphics card and has a disk with driver software for the 280.26 drivers. I am finding it impossible to update to the 320.49 drivers. I have downloaded and run the installed from the NVIDIA website for the correct graphics card and it runs the system compatibility check fine, but after I click accept on the lisence agreement the window abruptly shuts down and the drivers are not installed.
My second problem is with the USB3 ports. I have installed the drivers both from the clevo website and from the disc provided with my system but the ports are in a state where they provide power but no data connection (My mouse will light up but not actually work as a mouse, my external hard drive/usb stick will power on but cannot be accessed etc). Reinstalling the drivers will temporarily fix the issue but they will quickly and for no reason that I can tell break within a few hours and revert to their useless state. (Note: My external drive was plugged into one of the working USB2 slots when it was detected by the sysinfo utility)
If anyone could help me with these issues I would be really grateful.
Thanks,
Alex
