finding another email program

I have used Incredimail for many years now but it has become ponderous and frequently unresponsive. Therefore I'm thinking of uninstalling it, albeit reluctantly.

Can you all give me help in choosing another? Preferably one where mail from all my addresses is received in the same inbox as it is in IM.
