I have Windows 7 Home Premium and Microsoft Office 2010 which has no direct facility for copying and pasting plans showing table lines or Excel grid lines. I want to send a copy of a plan of our own property to a web based firm when requesting a quotation. I tried to get round this by using text boxes for lines but can`t copy and paste the text boxes themselves either. So now I am trying using rows of xxxxxs but am having trouble switching between horizontal and vertical rows of text. Is it possible to do this without putting them
into text boxes ?
Anyone any ideas for a simple way of getting round this problem. I am new to Windows 7 and to Microsoft Office 2010 and am finding the latter quite bewildering anyway. I managed to find Word Art but the directions for finding the way to change vertical to horizontal text defeat me at the moment. We don`t appear to be able to update Windows 7 - only to replace it which is an expense we prefer to avoid at the moment.
